The visual arts offer a glimpse into what God must have felt like during Creation, crafting man in His own image. As we create, we tap into the creativity of our Creator, achieving an unparalleled intimacy with God.
NCCS introduces students to the Visual Arts starting in the first grade. Lower School students have art class once a week where they begin learning the basics of the visual arts world.
Moving into Middle School, 5th and 6th graders have class three times a week and 7th and 8th grade students meet four times a week. For both Lower School and Middle School, classes are a combination of a variety of media and techniques that includes painting, drawing, printing, weaving, sculpting, and many others.
